1. Membership and Vetted Access
UKNetworker is a private fellowship. Membership is granted at the sole discretion of the Founder following a vetting process. We reserve the right to decline any application or revoke membership at any time to protect the quality and culture of the club.
2. Fees, Commitments and Renewals
Dues: Membership is subject to the dues associated with your specific class (e.g., Initiator, Charter, or General Member).
Commitment: By joining, you agree to the term of your chosen plan. Monthly or quarterly plans are rolling commitments after the initial term.
No Refunds: To maintain the integrity of our curation and the costs of manual setup, all membership dues are non-refundable. This remains true even if membership is revoked for a breach of the Code of Conduct.
3. Professional Conduct and Proprietary Rights
Members must abide by the Code of Conduct. You acknowledge that all content, page layouts, and the Legacy Architecture of the site are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or ‘scrape’ the member directory or any internal content from The UK Networker magazine or any part of the website for use outside the fellowship.
Member Content License: When you upload content to your profile or elsewhere on the site, or contribute to the magazine, you retain your ownership rights. However, you grant UKNetworker a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and share this content across our platform, in our newsletters, and on our official social media channels. This allows us to promote both you and the fellowship to the wider professional community. If you ever want a specific piece of content removed from our external channels, simply contact the Founder.
4. Direct Connections and Liability
UKNetworker provides the environment and tools for members to connect. However:
No Warranties: The service is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Due Diligence: Any business deals, partnerships, or transactions made between members are strictly between those parties. UKNetworker is not a party to these contracts and assumes no responsibility for their outcome.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, UKNetworker and its Founder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss of profits, data, or business opportunities resulting from your use of the service or your professional dealings with other members.
Member-Provided Information: Members are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the information they provide on their profiles, within their contributions to the magazine, and through any other part of the website. UKNetworker does not verify the credentials or claims made by individual members.
5. Third-Party Links and Events
The website contains links to external sites provided by both the Founder (e.g., in the Events Portal) and by members (e.g., on profile pages or within magazine articles).
No Endorsement: The inclusion of any link does not imply an endorsement by UKNetworker.
User Risk: We have no control over the content, security, or privacy practices of these third-party websites. Your interaction with any external link is strictly at your own risk, and we recommend you review the terms of any site you visit.
6. Modifications and Growth
As a Legacy Architecture business, we continually evolve. We reserve the right to modify the website features, tools, and these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UKNetworker and its Founder from any claims, actions, or demands (including legal fees) resulting from your breach of these Terms or your actions within the club that infringe on the rights of any third party.
8. Governing Law
UKNetworker is headquartered in England. All legal issues arising from the use of this website and our services shall be governed by and determined in accordance with the Laws of England, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
