Privacy Policy

At UKNetworker, we take a human-centred approach to your data. Because this is a private fellowship rather than a public social network, we don’t treat your information as a commodity. This policy outlines exactly what we collect and how it is used within our ecosystem.

What we collect and why

Vetting and Application: When you apply, we collect your responses to our vetting questions. These answers – covering your goals, values, and professional outlook – are used solely by the Founder to assess your fit for the club. They are kept private and are never published on the site.

The Networking Room: Once accepted, the information you provide for your profile is a part of what makes the networking room work. This includes your name, business details, and the specific filters you select (such as what connections you are seeking or your speaker availability). This data is what allows other members to find and connect with you.

Internal Communications: We provide tools for private messaging, audio, and video chat. While these are private between you and the other member, the system logs the fact that a connection was made to ensure the platform is functioning correctly.

How your data is shared

UKNetworker is a closed environment. Your profile and professional details are only visible to other logged-in, verified members. We do not allow public search engines like Google to index your member profile, keeping your presence within the club’s four walls.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share data with essential service providers (like our email system, ActiveCampaign) to ensure you receive club updates and newsletters.

Managing your information

You have full control over your presence here. You can update your profile at any time through your member dashboard. If you choose to leave the fellowship, your profile is removed from the directory. We may keep a record of your initial application as part of the club’s historical archive, but this remains strictly confidential.

Cookies and Tech

We use basic cookies to keep you logged in and to make the website function smoothly. We don’t use invasive tracking or third-party advertising cookies.

Contact

If you have any questions about your data or how it’s being used, just message the Founder directly through the platform or send an email to contact@uknetworker.co.uk.
